I love seeing old friends!

well i went home to DC for the weekend. my sister eloped, so we planned a nice dinner party for her and justin with just family (which is still 70 people). i was in charge of decor and guests, and i must say it was fun, natural, modern yet classy-not too weddingy. we steered clear from that!

my best bud from college, ryan, still lived in florida but works with women of faith and tours with them. they were in DC this weekend too, so we caught up for a little while that night. even if it was for 15 minutes, it was bliss! (i did have to go dancing people, come on now!)

he was the first boy and i was the first girl he met at college in the ID line. we were attached ever since (in a healthy way people, i was still dating brian long distance). ryan was my brother. a fun one at that. love ya boy!

and this is just a glimpse of my night dancing..... this was on our way home, that i still managed to take sightseeing photos of the monuments as well. windows down, no seatbelts....recipe for disaster, but fun nontheless! my dad and brother in law jason built one of the hippest clubs in DC FLY lounge....so we get in and get free bottles. it's kinda nice, i ain't gonna lie. a special treat was chuck (one of the owners and longtime family pal) spun for the night. he is by far the BEST dj. no one can spin ol skool hip hop like him!
