catch up!

so i've been super busy and then had some sick kids for a few days. but here is a little recap for those who have been missing it (jessica!!!) hahaha.

we went home for my dad's 50th birthday party. it was wonderful to celebrate him with just the family. we all made his favorite dishes (white spaghetti, wings from fridays, hot dog/onion/potato/green pepper dish, hash brown casserole, peanut butter blossoms, ham, and lumpia (well that's everyone else's fave!). and shell made his fave cakes, yellow with chocolate icing, and a pound cake with fresh berries and cream inside.


this past weekend brad and cindy came to town from chicago! we threw them a rock star baby shower!!! it was a blast to see them. i talk to them so often, that it never feels like it's forever between visits. but i was so spoiled to have them in town. i can't wait to meet baby caden when he arrives in june!!!!

i hope you all can make it out to newhope church this sunday (the 15th) to our new location on fayettville road!!!! it is exciting times! don't worry, i will remind you again :) and please come say hi when you see me! i'll be singing and brian will be ushering both services.....
