so today my kids wrapped up their year at preschool. and *sigh* my eldest will be heading to kindergarten next year! the first question is this, am i really old enough to have a kindergartener? i swear i am still 19! ok, so my heart is still young!
my next question is, am i ready to hand over my first baby to someone else for the majority of the day? being a former teacher myself, i knew that i had those kids for most of their day and i took that responsibility seriously. even though staying at home with my kids was a blessing and definitely a curse at times, i am grateful that i was able to. did i do well enough? will he be ready for this chapter in his life? did i prepare him well? will he miss me as much as i will miss him?
growing up i always knew what i "wanted to be". a stay at home mom (like mine), a teacher, and a famous singer. surprisingly, i have done all 3! (now, i would not say i am a famous singer by any means, but i at least get to sing on a regular basis) :) God has blessed me...who knew the desires of my heart would play out in this fashion? i love how He has it figured out for me....
so, here's to the last day of preschool and hoping i am not drowning in wine by 5pm everyday this summer as i have the kids alone! hahaha! here's to my beautiful children who make me so proud and who bless me richly!!!

Happy last day of school! I know you did a superb job with the kids and Chase is more than prepared for kindergarten:) <3
i remember kyra's first day of kindergarten. i totally thought i was cool, but her face when she stepped on the bus left me sobbing - following the bus in my car! :)
:o) Molly started kindergarten at her preschool so it was 1st grade that was emotional, but watching my lil guy on the bus his first day at "big school" was gut wrenching!
I wish I could say it gets easier...I cried pulling out of the middle school parking lot after Molly's first day there!

aaaawwww! he will love kindergarten! you'll really have a hard time when corban goes to kindergarten and then you will have an "empty nest" every week day!
The kids are growing so fast! Chase will be fine in Kindergarten. You have raised him well! He has such a creative imagination I'm sure he will amaze everyone. Congrats on getting on into grade school!
They are so grown up! Chase will love K!
