kindergarten

so chase started kindergarten this year! it flew by to get to this point, many times in slow motion somehow, but it did :) he did great...no tears...no clinging to mommy or daddy....he was ready to go! so i shed no tears in return. then i got to the car and started to get a little emotional and decided to make a phone call to thwart that. hahaha.

i will say though, that boy is SO good in school ALL day, that he comes home and is a little beast!!!! i know he is still adjusting, but it's been a little much to have him not very happy with the little time i am with him during the day now. but it will get better and i just try to love on him as much as i can (from the couch or my wheelchair-knee surgery post to come).

what i love most about chase: he is affectionate, comedic, protective, full of questions with a wonderful imagination, handsome, musical, and hard-working. i love every minute i get to spend with him and am quite jealous that he is not with me for most of the day anymore. i wish him the best K experience ever!
