it's that time of year

yes, it is true. fall is my favorite season---it's one of the only times i crave and highly anticipate change in my life. and in the midst of all the wonder and glory of fall, i always fall victim to one particular area....want.

this is the time of year i want material things the most (some i need and some i don't). i don't even experience this at christmas time or any other time of year for that matter. so as i lay on the couch reading every fashion magazine in my time of "pause" to heal, i have come up with my list this fall.

my birthday has passed, christmas is a long way away, and my surgery came with the price tag of "sorry, you can't get anything you want for a long time", so i just get to lust at this point :)

in no particular order:

1. address book. (i need a new one desperately, mine is a good 9 years old with x's all over the place and no more room.)
2. lola by marc jacobs (i LOVE the way this smells!)
3. a digital camera (this is a need as well, mine broke at my bday party)
4. black denim or dark grey skinny jeans
5. flat calf boots
6. big belt
7. button-less cardigan wraps in black and grey
8. a new smokey eyeshadow palette.
9. lots of new jewelery
10. ok, so i really want at least 4 more pairs of shoes.
11. a paper shredder
12. kabuki sleeve sweater
13. boyfriend blazer
14. for all my photos to magically appear into albums in an organized fashion.
15. to make my africa scrapbook.
16. oh to go back to africa would be nice.
17. for my basement to be finished.
18. for my $8k medical bill to disappear.
19. a mani and pedi with a moonicure with black and white or grey.
20. false eyelashes

i also have a lot of "wants" to improve my life, but i won't bore anyone else with another list. ok, done being shallow.

Have I been hiding under a rock? What in the world is a moonicure????
Your list looks almost identical to mine...I am quickly learning what it means to be a mom...no more shopping for me ;)
I will work on the shoes for you...I am sure I have a few more unused pairs you could take off my hands ;)
