yucky men

so i went to lunch at champps with my parents, monica, and brittany on sunday after church. after walking around, i stumbled across this beauty:

um, your shirt halfway open, fake tan, and lack of looks will never entice me to buy your product.

then let's move on to late night sunday TV. the one and only peter popoff was on an infomercial on BET. this guy makes my skin crawl. such a stereotypical televangelist. he was promising people a "free and larger" miracle water to make them rich or heal any ailment. he was telling people they are entitled to god's inheritance and in a big way and it's time to cash in on it-all we have to do is ask. vomit. i don't want to stand next to him on his judgment day!

where is the integrity? the authenticity? the leaders we can be PROUD of? why are they never on TV????????

OK...I am totally repulsed! What in the world would make someone think a bottle of "miracle water" would actually work. It's sad to think that people are so easily swayed...and that there are people who get on tv to get into their heads!

i hate that poster at southpoint. it's easily the LEAST appealing piece of advertising i've EVER seen!

also - the kicker about the stupid miracle water guy is that people think we (Christians - and his case i use the term loosely) are all on the same team! so they lump me and you in with the crazy pink haired lady and the miracle water hoax...so frustrating!

Did you know that they showed this on Best Week Ever on VH1. You weren't the only one watching that. I don't think this "miracle water" makes Jesus very happy.~stephanie
