i love sundays

i am whooped today. but i love it. after having a rather un-eventful saturday (minus meeting up with a couple pals at city beverage way after the kids went to bed), i was gearing up for a crazy sunday.

i really have no idea how curtis or benji do what they do every week for 3 services. i'm dog tired just after one day of doing it! and all i do is sing a diddy here and there! i love being at all 3 services to see everyone. i have a fine church family, if i do say so myself.

our message was about hope. that's one thing i have never "lost" per say, but it is something i truly cling to-especially when those around me i love or even strangers are hurting. their hurt can be physical, emotional, spiritual, or acted out to hurt others. i wish people knew the hope they could find in christ-that no one is trying to shove anything down their throat, but that there is a true and genuine love for them. i'm so thankful for the peace that passes all understanding in my life. it is only natural i would want to share that with others. there are no strings attached............

sorry, i did not mean to go all deep and meaningful when you are used to getting "US weekly" depth from my posts! hahaha.

we then had our neighborhood holiday party. i cannot say enough how much i love my neighbors (some less if they boycotted the tot lot, but i won't hold a grudge!). we've been in this neighborhood for 2 1/2 years now and i just love it. it was nice to see all the kids and eat all the good food. (and of course grandma gloria's lumpia (eggrolls) were a huge hit! and to think i made them myself this time!) anyway. it was fun.

and then we come home to watch some heels kick rutgers hiney and my skins are still winning as of 10:45 pm-with a shot in the dark at the playoffs. let's not forget my 10pm trip to super-target tonight. i had to stock up since brian will be out of town for the next few days. i can't get enough of that place!

aaaahhh, i can go to sleep now a happy woman. jesus, parties, sports, and super-target all in one day (and hopefully something else i love before i fall asleep-hahahaha). now that is satisfaction!
