fun morning!

so we just had the coolest morning! lisa jeffs had our swazi team over with their small group to pray for and love on us. it was fabulous-they had swimming, lots of food and cake. our team packed up the prayer bears and school supplies we are taking over! it is all starting to feel very real! ( i guess it should since we are leaving in a day) haha.

i had the neatest time chatting with everyone. some of you probably know kelly who sits in the front row with country at services. we asked her how she met country since she seemed to know him well. for you non-newhopers, you probably see country at the intersection of fayettville road and I-40 (he walks with a cane and has a (new) dog). anyway, country comes to church faithfully and i have enjoyed getting to know him.

kelly works close to the woods where country lives. he approached her (i think while she was getting gas), and of course she was a little nervous. but they somehow started talking about church and he told her she needed to come and check out newhope because he loved it so much. she came that first sunday and has been back ever since-in fact her entire family comes now! i always love to hear stories of how people come to know each other (well i pretty much love anyone's entire life story!). i thought that was cool.

but anyways, thanks to everyone for a wonderful morning. hoping my kids will all nap, so i can nap too. haha. i really should be packing.........
