for everything....

"for everything there is a season." Ecclesiastes 3:1

i just read this as i was drinking milk out of the carton on chase's preschool paper. it's his memory verse for the month. ah, and speaks to me in just the right moments.

even though i may battle it as much as i can at times, i am very content in my "season". sure, sometimes i think i have "sacrificed" my entire livelihood and identity to be where i am at today. but honestly, it works and i wouldn't have it any other way.

i am content in this stillness of not having any major responsibility besides raising my children right now. even though the administrator in me is going haywire with boredom at times, i know my kids will only be little once. i am glad that i am able to be with them, even though it is hard and challenging and i stink at it most of the time :)

i am content with relying on God for my future. He has me where He wants me. there is always a bigger picture that i will never see or fully understand. no matter what i have to go through, it's always for a reason.

there are many parts of my season that suck right now that most will never know about, but i just can't dwell on those things. through all the clouds and confusion, i just see Him. and that makes my season beautiful every time.

being content with 'right now' is what everyone's reaching for. consider yourself blessed in this time of peace, SuperSIster!! (and share some of that peace, pul-eezee)

beautiful! your children will be so blessed by your presence. you won't see the immediate benifits now-but you will in the future :)
