so i met with my lovely triad last night, and let me just tell you that God showed up big time. i could have stayed there all night. there was prayer for physical healing, our church, relationships, new ministries, finances (speaking against minivans!), work loads, comfort, and for freedom in Him.
coming from a very charismatic background, i always prayed that the Lord would provide people "like me" spiritually, so i could continue to thrive in what i knew and loved. no one wants to feel dead spiritually ever or lose something that has always been a part of the spiritual make-up. he did that instantly when i came back to newhope after living in charlotte for a while (with a group of people who saw God in everything-i had never been challenged so much in my life-in a good way).
i know not everyone is like me spiritually, nor do they need to be. i always pray that everyone will find their individual freedom in Him and are never scared of what he has to offer. he has A LOT to offer.....
so thank you Lord for hanging out last night with us and continue to break our hearts for what break yours.
