so my dear DH (that means dear hubby for all you non-forum folk) is stressing about finances as usual. kids can clean you out in a heartbeat financially. i spent $80 at target the other night just on diapers, baby food, and formula. no fun.
soooo, brian wants to cut back on some things-our car payment being one of them. he wants to get me a used minivan. we're not talking odyssey or sienna....we're talking beat up, fugly, and not from this decade. i can't tolerate it. i can't tolerate the thought of A. driving ANY minivan and B. driving one that belongs at a dump.
is it not enough that i stay home with the kids???? i don't use my degree, i hate housework (and really don't do much of it), i don't go on shopping sprees of any kind or get the pedi's i crave, i don't get to socialize much with humans of adult likeness, and i don't even have bedroom furniture. i think i am all tapped out on sacrifices. i've died to myself in so many ways that he and even you all would never understand.
just let me drive my SUV. i'd rather sell my house and down-size than drive a mini-van. period.
i know i sound bratty, but it just sucks. just don't laugh if you see me driving a mini-van that probably won't even pass inspection. safety first apparently! UGHHHHH!
wah wah wah! SO if you have any way that i can make some money that doesn't require sales, hit me up. and no, sorry, i will not be open to standing on the street corner this time. haha.

You've seen our cars right? My clothing budget is like $100 for the whole year. That's like 2 pairs of jeans and a bra. Lucky me! I feel your pain!
oh, honey. i feel you - you know i do. my driver seatbelt won't buckle anymore, the handle has fallen off the emergency brake release (have you seen our driveway!??!), the cd player doesn't work, the engine light goes on and off at will, and the backdoor doesn't open from the inside (and not because of the childlock.) *sigh*
not a minivan! no way! i just can't see you driving one. we need to pray about this girl. see you in a little bit!
thanks for the sympathies, ladies. i know i sound like a spoiled brat...it's just one of those things i really struggle with!
hey cuz. glad to see i'm not the only one that has been dealing with finances! i wrote a post too that reflects my struggles right now. i'll be praying for you...and your minivan lol
