saved by the bell

i'm too tired to post about my weekend and i promise i'll get to it with pics, but i just had to comment on one of my favorite shows of all time "saved by the bell". i haven't seen an episode in years until today.

brian and i could not stop laughing at how cheesy it was. we thought that show was just so cool....some highlights:

slayter saved denise richards (with extreme eyebrows) from "drowning" in the ocean. she asked him to carry her out while the audience (who was not really there) did the big " ooooooh" for the romance factor.

jesse spano looked 27 back then when she was supposed to be a high schooler.

kelly kapowski had too much cleavage in a bathing suit for even back then. a little boy had a crush on her and i guess she let him down. at the end of the episode, she sees him sitting alone on the beach at a party. she walks over and asks "is this sand taken?". need i say more?

zack morris was never a good match for stacey (leah remini-who's acting is the exact same as "king of queens"). i guess they broke up, i was probably too busy telling my kids to shush as i tried to watch it-i missed it.

at the end, slayter (with everyone else in tow)walks up to a solo and sad zack on the beach. he asks zack, "it looks like you could use a friend right now." and then someone else, i forget who, says "looks like you could use 6 friends right now." and they all walked off into the cloudy sunset with eachother with the fake audience going "awwwwwww".

wow. it was bad. now i'm just waiting for the episode for when kelly sings "blue moon". i still sing it just like her to this day!
