street kings

so after an awesome night at encounter, i went to champps with dossy, katie, katie's fiance, and his army friend. it was yum. the boys decided to go see "street kings" and we later decided to crash the movie (that had 5 people in the theatre).

i am all for "man movies". and this one was definitely one. keanu did the best he could do and wasn't too bad. there was a new actor in there who definitely kept the ladies attention. but all in all, it was a little disheartening. i am sometimes a teeny bit naive to the world around me, evil particularly. the way these men lived with no regard for morals or human life was quite disturbing. are there really people out there like that? um yes.

i am all for hearing bones break and justice being served, even if done incorrectly, but this one gave me a heavy heart. that's probably why i stopped watching all those CSI episodes too. i just get sick over the sick things humans do to each other. i guess i should stick to my sci-fi and fantasy stuff.
