my twin would be my cousin through marriage, monique. since we were young, the resemblance and confusion was always there! in fact, when i was getting these pics of her off her myspace, my kids were like "what were you doing there mommy?" "that's you mommy!!!". they didn't believe it wasn't me. chase even accused me of lying, "mommy, is that a lie??"
anyway. at the ripe age of 15, i went with my very older friend nikki to a local concert at Hot Licks. there was this awesome metal band playing with an incredibly hot drummer. so the whole night (since i was young, but looked 20), i thought he was checking out my friend, but no, it was me :)
so we started "talking" and hanging out. then one night he invited me over to his house. i walked up to his room and noticed a cool shrine of pics on the wall. only to discover most of them were of my "twin cousin" monique!!!! i almost died! he said they used to date. of course to myself i thought how convenient i look just like her. hahahaha. it was awesome.
ryan and i continued to date for a little while, but of course i was 15 and crazy. i didn't hold on to boys very long. he's still a sweet friend though! ahh, fun memory lane.

Yeah...I definitely thought that first one was you. I've had two "twin" comments in my life...one was in 8th grade when someone said I looked like a cheerleader from another school. Incidentally she was VERY unfortunate looking, fun times. The second came from a customer when I was working at Old Navy who said "Are you related to Matthew Perry because you look just like him"...hmmm, interesting.
