shelley is still in the hospital, not sure when they will send her home. due to her heavy dose of prednisone and a a very low immunity she has contracted a staph infection now too(which also means her kids cannot come visit). as of now, her colon is still not responding to the medication. they might have to start withdrawing blood from her PIC line, which they don't like to do, but her vein situation isn't leaving much choice.
she told me today that she has lost so much weight and is ridiculously thin. she is dying to eat and is so glad she is at the hospital with no food around than at her house with it always there.
she has been in the hospital for exactly one week today. my mom is at her house tending to the kids, her church is bringing meals and helping out, and some other family members are doing what they can.
please continue to pray for healing. pray for the kids, their confusion, and their separation from their mommy. pray for all those helping. pray for continued wisdom for the doctors.

How rough! They say hospitals are the worst places for sick people because they can contract so much. I hope things get better for her and she can get out as soon as possible! Keeping her in my prayers!
