God is good

i've got so much great news going on, that i don't even have time to blog about it right now. but God is good, in the most unexpected ways. He takes care of me through others and through his promises.

now off to do the dishes that i have been putting off for 3 days (and yes, the smell). brian's been out of town on business, so i have no one to get on my case about it, but my triad is coming over in like an hour and i need to get with it. how's that for a run-on?

got my vaccinations for africa today. my arms hurt. my eyes hurt from crying from everyone's generosity and that God really wants me to go on this trip. He wasn't joking. i'm not making it up.

oh and my tailbone still hurts. i'm so sick of it. i wake up at least 3 times a night in writhing pain. but then i struggle to fall back asleep because my mind and heart just get pumped up thinking about rooms of HOPE and africa. 2 very exciting things......... i can't complain about being happy about it. at least i am not up worried at night about things. i also take those tailbone pain breaks to pray for others (and my pain!), but it's the best distraction in the world! so send me your prayer requests :)

hope your weekend is great. mine will be a whirlwind again. hope to see many of you on sunday. i'll be there all 3 services, so come say hello. there is no excuse.
