it's been a year...

this pic is when grandpa first came back from the philippines and had to go straight to the hospital here in the states. he never came home from the hospital :(

today marks a year since my grandpa bungato passed away. sometimes it feels like ages ago, yet sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday. we look forward to be able to spend time with our family this weekend, to celebrate the wonderful life grandpa lived.

i miss his one-liners, even though i couldn't understand what he was saying half the time! he always made me laugh. i miss him frying eggrolls in the garage or backyard. i miss his smile. i just miss having him around.

love you, grandpa. i know i will see you again......
