let it begin

so i have been wanting to post some stuff but never got around to it. so the next few will be random, out of order, of little or of much significance. let's see what i can hash out now....

*CD reviews: the new Keane cd, not digging it. i have only listened to it once. but it is too different, almost like they are trying to sound corny.
brtiney spears, circus: love the first 2 songs, her singles. noticed i had no clue who half of the producers were (except for max martin of course!) and am not digging that cd yet either. not really sure why they put "radar" as a bonus track. it just came out on her cd last year.... anyhoo. i still love that girl and would rock out at her concert! but as of now, blackout is better than circus!
portishead: i have not listened to this one yet. but can't wait. i haven't heard their stuff in a long time. i'll keep you posted!

* cindy flaherty is finally telling people she is pregnant! yay! so excited to be an "aunt" again!

* depressed! my niece stella is having her first birthday tomorrow night at panache of course (she is a baby rockstar!) and i can't make it. my soul is crushed. my nephew andrew turns one in a couple weeks ,and brian's niece mackenzie turns one on valentine's day. i don't think we can make it home for any of the parties. so sad!!!!!!!

* YES! today was a hard day. corbs has a horrible cough that causes him to vomit mucous and his food regularly. he and callie were up all night hocking and crying, not to mention how my kids have been fighting with eachother non-stop. i am more than ready for 2 of them to head back to preschool next week!!!!

but i say YES! because brian told me to take the night off. i was feeling a little pathetic that i had no one to do anything with. and out of the blue my friend maria from trianglemommies who i have not seen in months called me and asked if i wanted to go to a movie. a girly movie! we are going to see "the reader" with kate winslet tonight. i'll let you know how it is. and thank you God for placing her in my life, especially tonight!

* i didn't work out today as planned. boo.

* i need better health insurance. this ghetto wellpath plan is just not cutting it. i don't have dental, vision, or anything coverage. my eyes are in really bad shape. i have not seen a dentist since i won't even tell you.....you would cry. my gimp thumb has something really wrong with it. my tailbone is in chronic pain. the chiropractor told me that my left hip is over an inch higher than my right(mechanics). but my insurance won't cover me to get it fixed by him.

*corban is coughing and gagging again.

*need to go get out of my pajamas at 7:24 pm to go to starbucks and the movies!

*and let the plugging begin...my brother and his band justin jones and the driving rain have a show at the station in chapel hill on feb. 17th! mark your calendars now!!!!! you will truly enjoy this show and his incredible songwriting and musicianship!
