so brian's mom got him the book by tim russert "Wisdom of Our Fathers: Lessons and Letters from Daughters and Sons". i put it in the downstairs bathroom (where most reading occurs in our house).
today, i read the first 3 letters from the daddy's girls section and was a weeping mess. a MESS! it just shows how some of the little things a parent can do can just make the largest memories or difference in a child. i look forward to reading more. i also find it sentimental because he talks about his son and his own father. how special to always have that from your father, who is now gone.
