trust

so i have a friend from college that i have recently reconnected with on facebook. he and his wife are doing amazing things for Christ, and it's been a joy to see how their lives are unfolding. he posted a note this morning that completely spoke to me. simple, and to the point. maybe it will speak to you.


"Most people in the world will never know the responsibility or the pressure that comes with answering God's call on their life.

They refuse to relinquish complete control holding onto their small little dream.
Pride stops them from ever seeing how big God's dream can become reality.

With just a little trust.

His plan is complete, ours is just a bunch of pieces.
We can only see one step at a time, when he sees every step at once.

No one said it would be easy to be led into a room blinded folded and spun around a thousand times.
Then be asked to open the right door in a room filled with endless doors.
Unless all the other doors are locked but one.

That's what it is like to give up complete control and trust God."
